These manuals each contain 35 lessons to help women and young women learn the principles and doctrines of the gospel, live righteously, develop homemaking skills, and use their time and talents to bless others. Where the general curriculum of the Church is available, the Latter-day Saint Woman manuals are used as resources for Relief Society instruction on the first and fourth Sundays. Where the general curriculum is not available, the Latter-day Saint Woman manuals are the primary resource for instruction and should be made available to all members of the Relief Society. These manuals may also be used for instruction in other Relief Society meetings. Where the Young Women manuals are available, these manuals may be used as supplementary resources for lessons. Where the Young Women manuals are not available or where directed by the Area Presidency, these manuals are the primary resources for lessons in Young Women classes.
